1995 - Tom & Ruth Denlinger (and Alex) went to Alaska for the first time to work
with SEND of Alaska in
Glennallen. That was the beginning of the work of LightShine Ministries in
Alaska.
1996 - We took a work team up in January to work with
Alaska Bible College.
1997 - Plans were made with Copper Center Community Chapel for building a camp for native youths.
1998 - Our first camp team built four cabins at
Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp.

1999 - Four of us came up this year and are pictured
here with Pastors Mike Potts and AJ Kajer and some campers.
2000 - Six of us are pictured here with Pastor Potts
and Kajer and campers.
2000 - A large work team
from Calvary Monument Bible Church and Lancaster Christian & Missionary Alliance
also came up to work on two missionary homes. Click

2000 - FIRE ESCAPE I - The first year for Fire Escape Concert at the Copper Center Kluti-Kah Hall. Fragrance of Life (FOL) came up from PA to share their ministry with the people of the village.
2001 - FIRE ESCAPE II -
2002 Work Team - Five of us (Left to Right - Bill Endslow,
Tony Musser, Jay Emenheiser, Steve Musser and Tom Denlinger) worked at
Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp
winterizing cabins and preparing the chapel for a metal roof in the future.
We also began working at Mountain Home Fellowship in Palmer, Alaska this year.

2004 Work Team - 15 of us worked at
Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp
from September 4th -14th and put a roof on the chapel and finished winterizing

2005 Work Team - 12 of us worked at Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp from September 3rd -12th and re-chinked
cabin 1 among several other jobs. Click

2006 Work Team - 7 of us worked at
Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp
from September 2nd- 12th and did a lot of miscellaneous jobs around camp.

2007 Work & Vacation Bible School Team to Alaska Bible College and Mendeltna
Chapel - 10 of us mainly from LCBC (Lives Changed By Christ) worked at painting
windows for Joy Hall in Glennallen, Alaska and doing Vacation Bible School for
children at Lake Louise and Mendeltna Chapel. Click
