Tom
Denlinger is
the visionary and co-founder of LightShine Ministries and has served as Director
for most of the years since it was incorporated in 1991. He is the Chairman of
the board and the vocalist and rhythm guitarist in our music ministry. His
vision and trips to Alaska starting in 1995 launched the ministry into Alaska.
Tom attended Philadelphia Bible University and was a youth leader prior to
starting LightShine. Tom and his wife Ruth were married in 1985 and have three
children Alex, Ryan and Chloe. You can contact Tom at

Jeff Zimmerman is co-founder and has served as Administrator for most of the years since the founding of the organization. Currently he is Secretary and Treasurer of the board. While attending Penn State University he was greatly influenced by Campus Crusade for Christ. After graduating from Penn State he took a team through a Youth With A Mission training school and on to service in Belize, Central America with Eastern Mennonite Missions. Jeff further worked for EMM developing youth training programs taking teams to Belize, Dominican Republic, and Kenya. He has also worked in youth ministry locally at Rainbow’s End Youth Center in Mount Joy, PA. You can contact Jeff at jzimmerman76@comcast.net.
Teri Newell is Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper for LightShine Ministries. Her husband Larry is a diesel truck mechanic and avid fisherman. Teri is employed as Ministry Assistant at Mount Joy Mennonite Church. She was a member of Alaska teams in 2007 and 2008. They both attend LCBC in Manheim, PA.
