Mel Miller's first team was in May of 2008 and is called to ministry in Alaska.  He and his wife Carol are pictured here with their children and grandchildren.  The Millers attend Locust Lane Chapel in Harrisburg, PA and he serves as a church elder.  Read his pastor's letter of recommendation.  Mel also leads a team of 10-12 people every January to one of the areas devasted by hurricanes. Mel recognizes that the Lord has blessed him with the ability to build things and enjoy that ability to build the Kingdom of Jesus Christ by helping others!

After high school, Mel graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute in 1975.  He has worked various jobs including driving school bus, working on a dairy farm and being a building contractor.  For 27 years Mel owned Home Improvement Company in Harrisburg and had four employees and several part time employees.  Currently Mel is employed by Messiah Village Retirement Company as a Construction Specialist.
