2012 Golf Outing & Fund Raiser

Are you a golfer and want to get involved in supporting missionary work in Alaska? We are announcing our first annual golf outing at Par Line Golf Course between Elizabethtown and Middletown, PA. The purpose of this fund raiser is to purchase much need vehicles for transporting missionary teams .

Please consider getting involved in this fund raising event for LightShine. This is a great opportunity not only to enjoy a round of golf with your friends, but also to share in the ministry of LightShine. Please consider participating by either a business sponsorship or as an individual golfer.
Invite your friends and neighbors too! After golf, we will share a meal and presentation on our ministry in Alaska by Tom Denlinger who is the founder of the ministry.

Greetings to all!
We are still accepting Golfer Registrations. At the moment we only have 28, but can accommodate many, many more. (I have 100 bottles of water and 420 bags of snacks for the event!!) If you know of anyone (and they don’t have to be good!), please encourage them to sign up – there are some great prizes that will be awarded and golfing is always fun. The cost is $75 / player, which includes the meal. Registration form can be downloaded HERE.
Volunteers for the Golf Outing are still needed. So far, it will be myself, Carl Ginder and I recruited my dad to help, but I would like to have 3-5 more. For sure, I need two more to “sit on holes” – there are prizes awarded for good play on particular holes and to help preserve the honor system, it is a good idea to have ‘judges’. My dad has agreed to be one, but I would like to have at least two more – it is an all afternoon commitment, meaning show up at noon and plan to stay through dinner. Your reward – meet a bunch of great people who support LightShine and enjoy the meal ‘on the house.’
Dinner – the meal provided at Par Line by the Sauder’s family after the golf is only $15 / person and I would love for as many people as possible to come and support Tom Denlinger with his presentation. Their dinner pavilion holds at least 150 people and the meal is well worth it!! So…invite your family, invite your friends, invite others who have supported LightShine in the past…however, please let me know by Monday, Sept 24th so that I can make sure we have enough food! (Only those who will be in AK have an excuse! J)
