Globe Creek Camp provides a vital camping experience for the Fairbanks region of Alaska and introduces and nurtures the faith of young people to their Creator, Jesus Christ.  LightShine Ministries has been working with this Bible camp since 2008 and we want to continue to see the camp thrive. 

 

 

The camp is located 37 miles north of Fairbanks on the Elliot Highway and if you ever visited this beautiful area you know that there is nothing else out there!  The vision of camp director, Mike Dynes, is to provide more and more features to the camp that will draw in many people so that they can experience a loving atmosphere that leads people to Jesus Christ.  It is our passion to provide free labor for the camp so it can accomplish these goals.

 

                   

Last year Jesse Middaugh (left) led a team to work at Globe Creek Camp from West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA.  They installed vital flooring and showers for the camp.  You can see some photos of last year's team by clicking HERE.

This year, Jeff Fair (right) will be leading a new team from West Shore Evangelical Free Church to help the camp on several different projects including installing a septic system (shovel work) and general carpentry projects.
