Globe Creek Camp

August 8 -17, 2009

The team has completed it's assignment and wants to share their experience with you. Click on the photos below to see the work they did. 

For the first three days, the team sanded logs on the main lodge and prepared it for a fresh coat of wood preservative. 

The team also cut and stacked a lot of wood.  Winters at Globe Creek Camp can dip well below 40 below zero. 

The team ate very well and had plenty of good fellowship together.  The Globe Creek Camp staff (pictured to the right) were great hosts!  They also spent time each day in Bible study after dinner in the evening.  Because this was a father/son team, it was a great time to build relationships and encourage the boys with principles of being a godly man. This was one of our verses for the week:

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10

We also took time to do some hiking and enjoy God's beautiful creation!
