Our team has completed our job in Alaska and we thank you for your prayers, encouragement and financial support.  Below are some photos of the work we did at Strelna Lake Wilderness Bible Camp.   The camp is used each summer for children and teen camps for Copper Center Community Chapel.  The camp is a primitive wilderness camp and has no running water or electricity.

The goal of our team was to clean up the camp, cut firewood to replenish all the cabins with wood for next year, do any needed repairs and spend time daily studying God's Word as a team.  Now the camp is ready for winter and next year's children's camps.  Thank God for a week of relatively dry weather which allowed us to get a lot of work done.  Thank Him also for keeping us safe from accidents and encounters with grizzlies, wolves and moose.  We prayed for dry weather and safety and we thank Him for answering prayer!  Almost the whole rest of the trip was quite different.  We don't take these things for granted.  We got a lot accomplished and thank you for your partnership in our ministry to the believers in Alaska.

        A lot of hard work!

We also worked at Copper Center Community Chapel painting the church basement and classroom.

We encourage you to consider going with us next year.  You can find out information on next year's trip by clicking HERE.  Our goal is to serve Copper Center Community Chapel each year by helping them maintain the camp they use for their children's ministry.  Each year we plan on taking a team to do just that!  We also volunteer to help with needed repairs around the church itself.  The goal of Copper Center Community Chapel is to build a new church in the future.

Please pray for them as they continue to seek God in searching for a pastor.

Pray for the native elders Wilbur Joe and Ken Johns as they lead the congregation.

Pray for them as they seek God's direction in building a new church in the future.

Pray for the ministry of the church as it meets the needs of the Ahtna village in Copper Center.
